His imaginative cooking is just as much part of the villa as the beautiful starlit nights and sunrises that will take your breath away. Guido Hettler, a native-born Upper Palatinate, was chef de cuisine in Munich for many years. Prior to that, he had been restaurant manager of the vegetarian restaurant “buxs“ at Viktualienmarkt in Munich and worked as a steward on the former dream liner “MS Berlin“. He began his cooking career in the kitchen of the “Wald- und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe“, one of the first star-awarded restaurants in Germany. And all this is reflected in his dishes: they stir up longings, yet without much pretentiousness.

Seine phantasievolle Küche gehört ebenso zur Villa, wie die
sternklaren Nächte und die unvergleichlichen
Sonnenaufgänge. Guido Hettler, gebürtiger Oberpfälzer,
hat viele Jahre als Küchenchef in München gearbeitet.
Davor war er als Restaurantleiter im vegetarischen
Restaurant „buxs“ am Viktualienmarkt und als Steward auf
dem damaligen Traumschiff „MS Berlin“ tätig.
Seine Ausbildung absolvierte er in der Küche des „Wald- und
Schlosshotels Friedrichsruhe“, einem der ersten deutschen
Sterne-Restaurants. All das findet sich in seinen Gerichten
wieder: Sie wecken Sehnsüchte und bleiben doch am Boden.

Alexander Popitz has thrown himself into the role of host: attentive, showing presence yet quiet, here and there with subtle wit, setting off that mischievous twinkle in his eyes and never taking himself too seriously. The trained carpenter travelled worldwide as a master craftsman in event technology and most recently as senior theatrical technician at the Prinzregententheater in Munich. The host attaches great importance to catering for the individual needs of his guests and attends to all comfort.

Veranstaltungstechnik und zuletzt als Theatermeister am
Prinzregententheater in München tätig. In allen Bereichen legt der
Hausherr großen Wert auf die individuelle Betreuung seiner Gäste.
