The “Odyssey” in the villa

The NN Theater Köln passionately plunges into the story freely adapted from Homer (or whoever actually wrote it) and uses its full range to breathe life into the archetypes of this saga. With rapid role changes, Rhenish humor, theatrical depth.

We invite you to a 10-year odyssey from Troy to Ithaca, into hellish Hades, to Africa, crisscrossing the Mediterranean Sea, first with many ships, then Odysseus as the only survivor. But that’s exactly how we experience the drama in Penelope’s house, who is surrounded and harassed by countless suitors. The story of her son Telemachus, in the middle of puberty, who glorifies his absent father and does not want to believe in his death. And a glimpse into the world of the gods, in which the goddess Athena is the actual puller of the story.

A Mediterranean three-course gourmet menu completes the arrangement.
